Wednesday, October 2 is International Walk to School Day. Schools from across Spartanburg County will be joining students from around the world to celebrate on October 2, 2019. Students will be walking to or at school that day along with parents, teachers and community leaders. The idea is to walk to school together with a purpose — to promote health, safety, physical activity and concern for the environment. And...Spartanburg has the most schools participating in the state!

Want to participate? Parents and students will meet at St. James Church at 7:20 AM and walk to Woodland Heights together. Coach McGinty and some teachers will lead the group to school. For safety reasons, students must be accompanied by parents to participate.
